Keystone Mutual Insurance Company, a Missouri-based medical malpractice carrier, is expanding its team of professionals with the hiring of Kevin Rejent as the firm’s first General Counsel. In this position, Rejent will be responsible for the legal affairs of both the company and its affiliates, including claims management. The hire further solidifies Keystone Mutual’s commitment to providing the highest level of trust and service for Missouri medical professionals.
Rejent brings with him over ten years of experience in the medical malpractice industry. His previous experience includes serving as an associate attorney at Thompson Coburn and Williams Venker & Sanders, advising clients on a variety of matters relating to medical malpractice litigation, antitrust litigation, physician contracting, regulatory compliance and other insurance issues.
Additionally, Rejent is an accomplished writer with multiple published articles in the Missouri Medical Report as well as his own book on health care reform titled, The Smart Business Guide to Health Care Reform.
